Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services
Deliver groceries to folks in Somerville and Cambridge on the first Tuesday morning of each month!
Become a Connect Advocate volunteer for Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services!
Assist older adults with transportation to and from clinics so that they can keep much-needed medical appointments for screenings and treatments. This role is in high demand!
Help an older adult in Cambridge or Somerville budget and manage their finances. This program helps ensure that essential bills like rent and utilities are paid!

We offer lots of free events throughout the year for people of all ages with a love of learning!

The Literacy Project offers free classes in English conversation, job hunting and resume writing.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts
This is our traditional program where adult mentors are paired with children ages 7-12. Bigs agree to meet Littles for 3 hours, a couple of times a month.
DHSP Community Learning Center
Two free CNA training programs that include job placement, hands on training through Labouré College and the cost of the exam itself. Transportation provided from Cambridge.
We provide language access services for people with limited English; in medical, legal, and community settings; while creating job opportunities for Language Access Fellows.
Per Scholas Greater Boston
Our free, 13 or 15-week tech training courses include job placement & career support. We prepare you for entry-level tech jobs and next-step planning. Attend an information session before registering.
