Early Childhood Opportunities

The Center for Families Newsletter is full of information, resources, and supports for Cambridge families with children birth-8 years old.

We offer a Chinese Immersion afterschool program for PK to 6th grade students and an Art & Talent Class for PK to 12th grade students in the Cambridgeport/ Central Square area near the MLK School.

We understand the importance of community and the power of compassion. As a 100% volunteer-run program, we are committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families in Cambridge, MA.

Join us on Zoom, 10am ET, for half an hour, on occasional Saturdays to learn and practice techniques for having difficult conversations.

We've created orienteering courses throughout the city of Cambridge to get you and your family outside and moving around. Check out our map courses on our website!

We offer a progression of map navigation activities for home-schooled students who want to learning individually or in a group.

We promote the earliest parent-child relationships by helping parents manage the care of a new baby.

Qualifying individuals can apply to receive affordable internet access and a new laptop.

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.

Cambridge Dads was created to increase fatherhood engagement in programming. The program strives to ensure dads are engaged, informed, and feel supported in their role as parents.

Our exciting community programming focuses on health, wellness, and active living in Cambridge! Our multiple facilities are open to community members interested in sports, activities, and lessons.
