Middle and High School Opportunities

This is a half day program for rising 6th-8th graders combines small group, supportive learning in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math with fun and socializing.

The Cowemoki Summer Enrichment Program is the Cambridge Community Center's full-day summer program for children grades K-8.

Our summer program includes enrichment activities, field trips and social emotional learning for rising 6th-8th grade students.

In our two-week summer program, youth work with our theater artists and science experts from Lemelson-MIT to adapt a story for the stage and design a new invention inspired by the tale.

Our sewing studio and stitch lounge hosts a sewing opportunities during the school year and summer for kids ages 9 - 14.

We help all youth gain leadership, teamwork & outdoor skills through weekl meetings and weekend or summer outdoor adventures like hiking, backpacking, camping, sailing, rafting and more!

We provide a variety of programs and leagues, both informal and official, that help children ages 3-12 strengthen baseball skills, play baseball games, and become leaders in their community.

We partner with local businesses and organizations to sponsor free events in parks across the city.

We offer nature-based games and activities, art, live music, food, and lots of other programs and activities for all ages, year-round.

Our Cambridge summer camps are for children ages 8-13, especially including beginners! Discover the Olympic sport of fencing - no experience required, full fencing gear is provided at no cost.

Our academic and co-curricular programs prepare artists, designers, and educators from diverse backgrounds to shape communities, economies, and cultures for the common good.

Our exciting community programming focuses on health, wellness, and active living in Cambridge! Our multiple facilities are open to community members interested in sports, activities, and lessons.

We help basketball players with skill development via time and gym space to practice, technology to record their progress, and coach-mentors to advise them.
