Additional information
What should you plan and do to remain in your home as you age? Many people wait until they have some sort of crisis and then their options may be more limited. Making some modifications to your home now and learning about what options are out there can help you avoid a crisis in the future. Join us for this panel discussion followed by a question and answer session.
Our panel:
Cambridge Neighbors is a leader in the national village movement. They provide a range of practical services, social opportunities, and resources to enhance quality of life and well-being throughout the aging process. Their goal is to help members remain connected to and valued in our communities. Jan Latorre Stiller, Executive Director, will present.
Kendal at Home is a Quaker-based not-for-profit organization. It offers autonomy, dignity and peace of mind while providing immediate flexibility, choices, and financial protection. Kendal at Home focuses on three areas: care management, care coverage, and planning for healthy aging. Lindsay Scott, Regional Sales Manager, will present.
Oakley Home Access is a home safety team of experts that include a registered & licensed occupational therapist and contractor. They work to achieve fall prevention, increased accessibility, and aging-in-place. Dan Lynch, Occupational Therapist, will present.
This is the second of three sessions on housing as we age. Our final session, in a few months, will focus on affordable options.
