Additional information

On Saturday May 14, from 1-2pm, the Office of Mayor Siddiqui is partnering with the Cambridge Public Health Department and Spira Yogashala to bring to the community a free yoga class on City Hall Lawn in celebration of Mental Health Month. This beginner-friendly yoga class will focus on the benefits of yoga on mental health. We will practice breathing exercises and introduce variations to each pose for people who want a little more intensity as well.

We will have 20 yoga mats to give away for anyone who needs one, so please come early and claim your mat! The yoga class will be on the grass, in front of City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave. This event will be family friendly for teens and up, and accessible to anyone, so everyone is welcome to join! If you do not have a yoga mat, please feel free to bring a towel for your practice. Don’t forget your water bottle!
