Daybreak allows children who need a smaller program and extra support to fully experience the benefits of summer camp.
Sign-up Information
Ages: 5 to 13.
Grades Kindergarten through 7th grade.
Eligibility for this program is determined based on age and an individual assessment to determine if Daybreak Day Camp is a good fit for the child. The director will also meet with families to help determine eligibility.

To enroll your child in Daybreak Day Camp, please contact Gordo Littlefield, gordo@cambridgecamping.org. Registration is open until July but camp spots usually fill up before then.
Cost
Tuition support is provided on a sliding fee scale between $280-$2,800 (covers the entire 6 weeks). Transportation, breakfast, and lunch are included in the cost of camp.

Daybreak Day Camp takes place at Nashoba Brooks School in Concord, MA. School bus transportation is provided from several Cambridge and Somerville neighborhoods.

A Daybreak summer offers friendships, new learning opportunities and strong mentoring relationships in a supportive, diverse community with a 2:1 camper to staff ratio. Campers enjoy 3 field trips each week and on-site activities including visiting performer workshops, crafts, biking, athletics, multicultural events and structured choice times. All camp tuitions are subsidized thanks to the generosity of many individuals and foundations and determined on a sliding fee scale that offers up to 90% discounts on the cost of camp. Rates are based on household size and family income.
