The Center for Families Newsletter is full of information, resources, and supports for Cambridge families with children birth-8 years old.

We offer a Chinese Immersion afterschool program for PK to 6th grade students and an Art & Talent Class for PK to 12th grade students in the Cambridgeport/ Central Square area near the MLK School.

When people come in we can help them use their digital devices (smartphones, tablets, computers), apply for services online, learn digital literacy and safety/privacy tips, and get access to devices.

Learn to play the Steel Pan, basic music, and leadership development.

Join our afterschool studio with flexible open enrollment or convenient monthly memberships.

We are offering virtual tutoring in all subject levels (K thru 12), including ACT/SAT test prep and foreign languages.

This is our traditional program where adult mentors are paired with children ages 7-12, and agree to see each other for 3 hours, a couple of times a month in the Little's community.

Our track team competes in both AAU and USA Track & Field meets, qualifiers and Olympic events. We currently have practice and meets three seasons each year for ages 6 - 14.

We are a nonprofit programs support girls to be physically and emotionally healthy and strong. Girls on the Run will be hosting a team at Danehy Park this fall beginning the week of September 19th.

We offer safe and fun programs for pre-teens, middle schoolers, and teens to connect with peers, build leadership skills, and participate in sports, arts, and activities in an inclusive environment. 

The program follows an Illustrative Math Curriculum with a concrete, pictorial and abstract approach to math, enabling students to learn mathematics meaningfully.

We offer a progression of map navigation activities for home-schooled students who want to learning individually or in a group.

Cambridge residents with children in grades K-8 apply to DHSP Afterschool Programs through this lottery application. The lottery opens in April for the coming school year.

Qualifying individuals can apply to receive affordable internet access and a new laptop.

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.

We help girls develop courage, confidence, and character through community service, exploration, workshops and adventures, including lessons in STEM, outdoors, life skills, entrepreneurship.

We have a variety of programs and clinics that include skill work and mini-games with the focus of learning the game of baseball and having fun!

Cambridge Girls Softball League fields teams for Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons. No prior experience needed to play at any of the levels – just a willingness to learn, try your best, and have fun.

We offer weekly arts education classes for youth (5th-7th grade) that include dancing, acting, and other movement-based arts.

We transforms the lives of children, adults with disabilities and their families through the power of one-to-one mentoring relationships.

Our youth and teen summer classes include in-person and virtual dance classes for ages 4 and up!
