Summer Camps and Activities, Homelessness Supports

This guide gives caregivers a quick and easy format to read through their summer camp options and reach out to staff for assistance.

We provide lunch at noon every day and a continental breakfast six days each week through our drop-in Day Shelter.

This list contains several programs that provide low-cost or free internet and phone services to low-income households and individuals, including the Lifeline Program and Comcast Internet Essentials.

The City of Cambridge can help address concerns and questions about housing resources, tenants, homeowners, landlords and property management companies, and court-related information.

We offer a Chinese Immersion afterschool program for PK to 6th grade students and an Art & Talent Class for PK to 12th grade students in the Cambridgeport/ Central Square area near the MLK School.

Safehome: Up to 1 month stay in a confidential location for an individual or family.
Transitional Housing: Up to two years of rental assistance for up to 16 survivors and their families.

A Music focused, emergent based curriculum and culturally immersive early education program. Professional live music classes everyday for every age group! Diapers, snacks and lunch are included!

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.

We provide a shelter for men that includes counseling, meals, clothing, a medical clinic, and day programs.

We provide an daycare and preschool center for families in-need, particularly those trying to break the cycle of homelessness and attain self-sufficiency.

As part of our program, we hand out various combinations of sandwiches or bagged lunches, juice boxes, snacks, socks, some seasonal items, toiletry kits, and more to the community.

We provide summer reading book recommendations; activities for children, teens, and adults; live events; as well as prizes and giveaways throughout July and August.

Our youth and teen summer classes include in-person and virtual dance classes for ages 4 and up!

We offer lots of free events throughout the year for people of all ages with a love of learning!

We are one of two shelters in Massachusetts that accept people who are using drugs and alcohol and are homeless.

In addition to shelter, we offer case management, workshops and trainings, supplemental resources, seasonal support, and more to 126 families in shelter.

We offer nature-based games and activities, art, live music, food, and lots of other programs and activities for all ages, year-round.

We provide shelter, transitional & permanent housing + support services to extremely low-income homeless/formerly homeless adult individuals & families with children in Cambridge & Greater Boston.

Our exciting community programming focuses on health, wellness, and active living in Cambridge! Our multiple facilities are open to community members interested in sports, activities, and lessons.
