Leadership and Mentoring, Homelessness Supports

This list contains several programs that provide low-cost or free internet and phone services to low-income households and individuals, including the Lifeline Program and Comcast Internet Essentials.

The City of Cambridge can help address concerns and questions about housing resources, tenants, homeowners, landlords and property management companies, and court-related information.

Safehome: Up to 1 month stay in a confidential location for an individual or family.
Transitional Housing: Up to two years of rental assistance for up to 16 survivors and their families.

Learn to play the Steel Pan, basic music, and leadership development.

This is our traditional program where adult mentors are paired with children ages 7-12, and agree to see each other for 3 hours, a couple of times a month in the Little's community.

Our tutors work 1-on-1 with youth in grades 4 - 12 to improve academic and social skills through the school year in a safe, structured, and welcoming community.

We provide free, high-quality, and hands-on science activities and mentoring for children and teens typically one day a week at each location.

The guide is organized around six key themes: affordable housing, emergency housing, housing rights, legal and mediation services, safe & healthy homes, and financial assistance.

Girls in our summer camps will have fun and build character through community service, exploration, workshops and adventures, including lessons in STEM, outdoors, life skills, entrepreneurship.

We provide a shelter for men that includes counseling, meals, clothing, a medical clinic, and day programs.

As part of our program, we hand out various combinations of sandwiches or bagged lunches, juice boxes, snacks, socks, some seasonal items, toiletry kits, and more to the community.

We transforms the lives of children, adults with disabilities and their families through the power of one-to-one mentoring relationships.

We support students and 1:1 volunteer tutors/mentors with homework, academics, social-emotional learning and community advocacy.

In addition to shelter, we offer case management, workshops and trainings, supplemental resources, seasonal support, and more to 126 families in shelter.

We empower women, girls, and nonbinary folks through a variety of gender-intentional programs and opportunities.

We provide shelter, transitional & permanent housing + support services to extremely low-income homeless/formerly homeless adult individuals & families with children in Cambridge & Greater Boston.
