Green Cambridge works to create a more sustainable city and to protect the environment for the health and safety of all.
Riverside
We are Cambridge's primary access point to permanent supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Area 2 and East Cambridge
We are carrying on the legacy of the Kennedy Longfellow School's values of inclusion, service, and social justice by providing support, resources, and compassionate services to families in need.
Cambridgeport
Club Z specializes in one-on-one virtual and in-person tutoring in all subjects (K thru 12), including SAT/ACT test prep and foreign languages.
Outside Cambridge
We rescue fresh food that might otherwise go to waste and distribute it within the local emergency food system where it can reach those in need.
The Port
Wildlife Arts is a volunteer-led group that provides free events that connect people to nature. Our outdoor art-making, parades, sewing circles, and storytelling are inclusive and multigenerational.
Area 2
The MIT community is driven by a shared purpose: to make a better world through education, research, and innovation.
Baldwin, Mid Cambridge, and Neighborhood 9
We are a liberal arts college and the largest educator of teachers and counselors in New England with programs that live at the intersection of education, counseling, and the visual arts.
Serving both the cities of Cambridge and Somerville, the Home Energy Assistance Program assists low-income households with winter heating costs incurred between November 1 and April 30.
Neighborhood 9 and West Cambridge
We offer case management and counseling services for Cambridge residents over the age of 60 and their caregivers.
TriTogether provides free, virtual tutoring to students in foster care.
We strengthen the local food system through events, coalitions, and programs, collaborating with businesses, nonprofits, government, and individuals to uplift local food makers.
Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD) empowers youth with disabilities to reach their full potential by providing transformative programs.
Area 2 and Cambridgeport
We help students learn using industry-standard software and tools, allowing them to learn not just the concepts, but the actual application to prepare them well for the future they'll live in.
East Cambridge
We offer diverse, high-quality programs promoting leadership and youth development through enrichment activities, unique experiences, and opportunities to develop relationships with adults and peers.
We offer short-term exchange programs, workshops, and cultural events for students, educators, and learners of all ages to foster cultural understanding and collaboration.
We support Cambridge through sustainable economic growth that expands opportunity, increases quality of life, and creates a healthy environment for Cambridge residents.
We develop policy and program recommendations aimed at improving the quality of life for children, youth and families in the City of Cambridge.
North Cambridge
We are a collaborative office implementing the Cambridge Preschool Program and helping families find early childhood supports. Our work and team are shared jointly by CPS and the City of Cambridge.
MathTalk creates community-based resources that engage children and families in joyful, everyday math experiences and build confidence and demand for math learning.
We advocate for a culture of respect and to monitor progress toward equality of all persons with regard to sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression through Cambridge policy and practice.
