Birches is an independent, co-educational pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school in Lincoln, Massachusetts.

We develop policy and program recommendations aimed at improving the quality of life for children, youth and families in the City of Cambridge.

We strive to cultivate an engaged community of youth whose powerful artistic voices transform their lives, their neighborhoods, and their worlds.

Onsite & online interactive classes, workshops, and cultural events in dance, fitness, martial arts, music, theater, and more, for all ages and abilities, by our talented and diverse faculty members!

We are Cambridge's primary access point to permanent supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

We are a daycare center and preschool program for ages 0-5 with an after school program for ages 5-12.

We provide social services: from providing food, disaster relief, assistance for disabled people, outreach, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.

We offer a variety of programs which provide Mental Health Supports and Services for ages 3-21 and their famlies.

A unified system with a strong main library and six active branch libraries each tailored to the unique needs of its neighborhood.

We support and empower community members experiencing homelessness through material aid, access to resources, and advocacy.

We offer afterschool, art classes, and summer opportunities for children and youth.

We are a church providing services outside of Central, Harvard, and Porter Squares geared towards street outreach year-round, in all seasons and all weather.

We are a high performing, urban K-6, science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) school. We seek to provide all Cambridge and local youth with a high quality education.

Where Technology Meets Community! We recognize the power of technology to connect children to each other and not just their devices. Offering summer camps, after school program, parties, and events.

We provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic mental health services to children & adolescents (primarily ages 6-17) who are court-involved or at risk of being court-involved and their families.

Children, teens, adults and artists of all ages and all levels can choose from a wide range of innovative and imaginative visual art classes and programs.

Our school fosters a love of learning and educates children to be caring, socially responsible citizens of their community and world.

DHSP strives to meet the needs of residents through our extensive services from newborns to senior citizens, from school aged children to homeless families, from non-profits to local employers.
