Older Adult Activities, Disabilities and Special Needs

We offer a variety of services, supports and programs dedicated to ensuring equitable access and success for students who have a documented risk of regression during the summer months.

We provide basic English classes to seniors at both of Cambridge Senior Centers (Citywide and North Cambridge).

We help older adults with housing, wellness support, financial education, public benefits applications, and referrals to additional community resources.

Dazzling minerals await you at the Harvard Museum of Natural History's Earth & Planetary Sciences Gallery! New to the collection is a unique assortment of egg-shaped minerals.

CW Taekwondo at Boston provides opportunities for fitness, fun, flexibility and community for adults by teaching martial arts in Cambridge and the Boston area.

We offer exercise classes for older adults such as Gentle Sculpt, Chair Fitness, Gentle Yoga, Aqua Aerobics, Taichi, and more.

The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival brings music, poetry, and community to the East Lawn of the Longfellow House on Sunday afternoons through the summer. All events are free and open to the public.

Riverside offers a structured, therapeutic after-school program for children from the Somerville and Cambridge area ages 6-12 that present with significant emotional and/or behavioral challenges.

This is a paid, two session study. The entire study will be approximately 5.5-6 hours long, and requires participants to come in on two separate days.

We are a recreational program that caters to individuals with special needs in the Cambridge area.
