First Church in Cambridge
Since 1987, First Church Shelter has provided a basic act of mercy to the poor and homeless of Cambridge and surrounding communities.
Phillips Brooks House Association, University Lutheran Church, and Y2Y Harvard Square
We provide homeless people with a safe, caring place to stay in the winter, plus counseling resources and transitional supports for anyone employed and saving money towards secure housing.

We promote and maintain socioeconomic diversity in Cambridge by supporting low-, moderate-, and middle-income residents through preserving and expanding affordable rental and homeownership programs.
We provide social services: from providing food, disaster relief, assistance for disabled people, outreach, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.
