Homelessness Supports, Food Resources

This is a program that provides a drop-in center for homeless and street-involved youth, ages 14-24, in Harvard Square, Cambridge.

Safehome: Up to 1 month stay in a confidential location for an individual or family.
Transitional Housing: Up to two years of rental assistance for up to 16 survivors and their families.

We are a student-run civil legal aid organization committed to providing free representation to low-income and marginalized communities in the Greater Boston area.

We run an overnight emergency shelter for young adults (ages 18-24) in Harvard Square, open between October 15th and April 15th.

Council on Aging offers a wide range of social services and is committed to meeting the needs of seniors. We can connect people to services or even meet them where they live to help them connect.

We provide free and nutritionally balanced meals to Cambridge residents 18 years of age and under. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options offered at all meal sites!

On The Rise is a daytime, drop-in program for unhoused women, trans, and non-binary people providing the relationships, safety and resources they need to move out of homelessness.

We offer help in applying for SNAP/Food Stamps or completing annual recertifications and interim reports. We can also help you resolve problems that may lead to loss or reduction of benefits.

We manage a homeless shelter for men and women on Green Street in Cambridge.

We connect people who are homeless in Cambridge to appropriate housing opportunities using our assessment tool.

We help Cambridge residents access and navigate affordable housing opportunities, obtain eviction and tenant displacement prevention, and other housing related resources and services.
