We provide summer reading book recommendations; activities for children, teens, and adults; live events; as well as prizes and giveaways throughout July and August.

We offer lots of free events throughout the year for people of all ages with a love of learning!

We are Boston’s largest provider of domestic violence awareness efforts and of shelter and supportive services to survivors.

We are an emergency shelter for homeless women. Guests receive referrals for health care, mental health services, educational services, and housing.

We are one of two shelters in Massachusetts that accept people who are using drugs and alcohol and are homeless.

In addition to shelter, we offer case management, workshops and trainings, supplemental resources, seasonal support, and more to 126 families in shelter.

Since 1987, First Church Shelter has provided a basic act of mercy to the poor and homeless of Cambridge and surrounding communities.

We provide homeless people with a safe, caring place to stay in the winter, plus counseling resources and transitional supports for anyone employed and saving money towards secure housing.

Our parent cooperative preschool will continue to provide a rich play environment in a warm, nurturing atmosphere over the summer.

Pine Village Preschool will offer a Spanish Immersion summer camp for toddlers through Pre-K (15 months - 5 years old) in multiple locations throughout Cambridge and Greater Boston.
