Academics and Tutoring, Homelessness Supports

We offer a FREE summer program for students entering 8th grade whose families are Cambridge Housing Authority residents. Students receive a stipend.

We manage a homeless shelter for men and women on Green Street in Cambridge.

We connect people who are homeless in Cambridge to appropriate housing opportunities using our assessment tool.

We help Cambridge residents access and navigate affordable housing opportunities, obtain eviction and tenant displacement prevention, and other housing related resources and services.

We provide a shelter for men that includes counseling, meals, clothing, a medical clinic, and day programs.

We provide an daycare and preschool center for families in-need, particularly those trying to break the cycle of homelessness and attain self-sufficiency.

As part of our program, we hand out various combinations of sandwiches or bagged lunches, juice boxes, snacks, socks, some seasonal items, toiletry kits, and more to the community.

We provide summer reading book recommendations; activities for children, teens, and adults; live events; as well as prizes and giveaways throughout July and August.

This is a half day program for rising 6th-8th graders combines small group, supportive learning in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math with fun and socializing.
