We are Cambridge's primary access point to permanent supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Mid Cambridge
Serving both the cities of Cambridge and Somerville, the Home Energy Assistance Program assists low-income households with winter heating costs incurred between November 1 and April 30.
We support Cambridge through sustainable economic growth that expands opportunity, increases quality of life, and creates a healthy environment for Cambridge residents.
Volunteer group that supports waste reduction initiatives in Cambridge.
We help give everyone access to technology and digital tools needed for success, especially for Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC), Immigrant, and low-income communities.
Outside Cambridge
The Network/La Red is a survivor-led, social justice organization that works to end partner abuse in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, kink, polyamorous, and queer communities.
Mid Cambridge and Riverside
We help break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by providing people with resources and opportunities to strengthen their confidence, achieve self-sufficiency, and participate in helping others.
We are a service provided by the City of Cambridge to help residents, businesses, and institutions become more energy efficient and access renewable energy services.
East Cambridge
Onsite & online interactive classes, workshops, and cultural events in dance, fitness, martial arts, music, theater, and more, for all ages and abilities, by our talented and diverse faculty members!
We promote and maintain socioeconomic diversity in Cambridge by supporting low-, moderate-, and middle-income residents through preserving and expanding affordable rental and homeownership programs.
West Cambridge
We support and empower community members experiencing homelessness through material aid, access to resources, and advocacy.
Neighborhood 9 and West Cambridge
A unified system with a strong main library and six active branch libraries each tailored to the unique needs of its neighborhood.
Cambridgeport
We provide social services: from providing food, disaster relief, assistance for disabled people, outreach, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.
We provide vibrant and active, open spaces in Kendall Square at MIT where people can meet, bump into each other, and connect using outdoor movies, pedestrian pathways, a stage, programming, and more!

We are a church providing services outside of Central, Harvard, and Porter Squares geared towards street outreach year-round, in all seasons and all weather.

DHSP strives to meet the needs of residents through our extensive services from newborns to senior citizens, from school aged children to homeless families, from non-profits to local employers.
