At the Cambridge YMCA After School Program, children have many opportunities to grow and discover new hobbies and interests.
Sign-up Information
- Ages: 4 to 13.
Eligible Ages start at 4 years and 9 months of age (4.9) and runs through the season in which the child turns age 13.
Registration required
- Sign-up is ongoing
Registration for this year began in March. Spots are usually full by April or May. However, we recommend people get on the waitlist as soon as possible. Often times spots open up after the school year has started.
- Go the to the Cambridge YMCA website
- Under the childcare tab select "After School Care"
- Click "Register for Waitlist"
- Click "School Age Child Care Pre Registration/Waitlist" in green
- On the right hand side, click "create an account" if you have never been to the YMCA. Click "login" if you are returning.
- Complete the necessary registration
- Finalize registration in your cart
- If you are unsure if you registered, email Mikhayla to confirm.
We will contact you with more information about what to expect afterwards. Our program fills up in September but people can still add your child to the waitlist if you would like us to after that point in case spots open up.
Cost
Full-Time (M – F) $700/month
- Financial Aid and/or Scholarship Available
- Accepts Vouchers

Additional information
Children have access to a wide range of enrichment and educational activities including arts and crafts, swimming lessons, gym time, STEAM cooking, Mass Audubon visits, and other classroom activities.
Expanded hours on early release days.
