Leadership and Mentoring, Housing

We provide language and interpretation classes, youth programs, multicultural community events, and other supports for immigrant families.

We provide free, high-quality, and hands-on science activities and mentoring for children and teens typically one day a week at each location.

We have games, community action projects, and meaningful conversations about school, girlhood, society, social media, identity, and more!

We provide Learning Centers that serve students in Grades 6–8 who are referred by their teachers for one-to-one tutoring after school.

We run an overnight emergency shelter for young adults (ages 18-24) in Harvard Square, open between October 15th and April 15th.

We offer safe and fun programs for pre-teens, middle schoolers, and teens to connect with peers, build leadership skills, and participate in sports, arts, and activities in an inclusive environment. 

We offer various clubs and after-school sports for students.

On The Rise is a daytime, drop-in program for unhoused women, trans, and non-binary people providing the relationships, safety and resources they need to move out of homelessness.

We're offering week-long Model UN day programs for students from all over the world to work together and address global issues.

We offer summer jobs to Cambridge teens, from age 14 through the summer after they graduate high school.

Girls in our summer camps will have fun and build character through community service, exploration, workshops and adventures, including lessons in STEM, outdoors, life skills, entrepreneurship.

This training week is designed to help youth to acquire the coaching experience needed for working within the parkour industry while building valuable professional skills and having fun!

CYC is a group of 14-18 year-old youth who work on projects related to the Family Policy Council's goals and topics that address the opportunity gaps in Cambridge.

We help basketball players with skill development via time and gym space to practice, technology to record their progress, and coach-mentors to advise them.

We offer a FREE summer program for students entering 8th grade whose families are Cambridge Housing Authority residents. Students receive a stipend.

We manage a homeless shelter for men and women on Green Street in Cambridge.

We connect people who are homeless in Cambridge to appropriate housing opportunities using our assessment tool.

We help Cambridge residents access and navigate affordable housing opportunities, obtain eviction and tenant displacement prevention, and other housing related resources and services.

We provide a shelter for men that includes counseling, meals, clothing, a medical clinic, and day programs.

We are a Jewish learning community for teens (8th-12th graders).

We are a leadership program where upper-middle and high school girls serve as co-teachers and mentors in K-8th grade science clubs.
