Middle and High School Opportunities

We offer summer jobs to Cambridge teens, from age 14 through the summer after they graduate high school.

Join us for a math-focused summer! Kids entering grades 3-8 will play math games, learn to do art and music with a math focus, and become better solvers of non-standard, hard math problems.

This is a free-of-cost STEM summer day program aimed at students with low income and/or low exposure to STEM.

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.

We offer two, weeklong summer sessions where current middle grades youth visit our galleries and campus to learn new skills in hands-on workshops, fun activities, and a creation showcase.

This training week is designed to help youth to acquire the coaching experience needed for working within the parkour industry while building valuable professional skills and having fun!

We host parkour classes for all ages and abilities throughout Cambridge and Somerville every week!

Cambridge Girls Softball League fields teams for Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons. No prior experience needed to play at any of the levels – just a willingness to learn, try your best, and have fun.

We offer a FREE summer program for students entering 8th grade whose families are Cambridge Housing Authority residents. Students receive a stipend.

We offer STEM programs every summer at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 6-13.

We provide you with personal attention to improve your football skills and fundamentals.

The camp provides an introductory sampling of hands-on science and engineering activities mixed with high school preparatory sessions.

We are a five-week summer program for rising 9th grade girls focused on computer science.

We offer weekly arts education classes for youth (5th-7th grade) that include dancing, acting, and other movement-based arts.

We provide personal training, fitness, sports, nutrition, and other classes, workshops, and a resources to help support your wellbeing and goals.

We partner with local businesses and organizations to sponsor free events in parks across the city.

We screen international feature films, documentaries, animation, and shorts from traditional film presentations. Our calendar reflects all of our upcoming events.

Our exciting community programming focuses on health, wellness, and active living in Cambridge! Our multiple facilities are open to community members interested in sports, activities, and lessons.

Basketball competitive basketball games for 6th-8th graders.

We can help you find what you need, offer screenings, treatment options, support groups, and more using our online screening tool.

Our hotline helps prevent suicide by giving free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you and loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

This program offers paid school-year internships at Harvard University for CRLS juniors and seniors.
