We offer in-person and online classes for adults in a variety of subjects and specialties each season.

This list contains several programs that provide low-cost or free internet and phone services to low-income households and individuals, including the Lifeline Program and Comcast Internet Essentials.

The City of Cambridge can help address concerns and questions about housing resources, tenants, homeowners, landlords and property management companies, and court-related information.

BCAP is a 10-week intensive training program designed for individuals with strong skills who are ready to enter sustainable careers in lab support and biomanufacturing.

Just A Start's Biotechnology Careers Program provides nine months of tuition-free training to prepare adults adults with low- to moderate-incomes for entry-level careers in the life sciences.

Just A Start's Information technology (IT) Careers Program provides nine months of free intensive training to prepare adults for entry-level IT jobs.

When people come in we can help them use their digital devices (smartphones, tablets, computers), apply for services online, learn digital literacy and safety/privacy tips, and get access to devices.

Safehome: Up to 1 month stay in a confidential location for an individual or family.
Transitional Housing: Up to two years of rental assistance for up to 16 survivors and their families.

Our online platform lets you learn with teachers around the world who will bring tomorrow’s science into today’s classrooms.

Qualifying individuals can apply to receive affordable internet access and a new laptop.

As part of our program, we hand out various combinations of sandwiches or bagged lunches, juice boxes, snacks, socks, some seasonal items, toiletry kits, and more to the community.

Our mentoring program is a great way to cultivate professional relationships and facilitate career growth. Whether you are a mentor or a mentee we all have something to learn.

We offer lots of free events throughout the year for people of all ages with a love of learning!

We provide shelter, transitional & permanent housing + support services to extremely low-income homeless/formerly homeless adult individuals & families with children in Cambridge & Greater Boston.

We offer training on housing and benefits issues to other groups, work closely with community organizations seeking policy changes and raise funds for homeless prevention.
