The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) offers a variety of safe and fun summer programming for Cambridge children and youth currently in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

The Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance abuse treatment and recovery services.

Come join our Chinese immersion summer camp for classical Chinese reading, challigraphy, tea art, Gongfu (Wushu), Chinese instruments, Chinese Art crafts, Chinese food and much more.

We offer a Chinese Immersion afterschool program for PK to 6th grade students and an Art & Talent Class for PK to 12th grade students in the Cambridgeport/ Central Square area near the MLK School.

When people come in we can help them use their digital devices (smartphones, tablets, computers), apply for services online, learn digital literacy and safety/privacy tips, and get access to devices.

The CLC offers five levels of English conversation, grammar, reading, and writing classes for Cambridge residents. There are daytime and evening classes. We do not offer online-only classes.

We provide language and interpretation classes, youth programs, multicultural community events, and other supports for immigrant families.

Join us on Zoom, 10am ET, for half an hour, on occasional Saturdays to learn and practice techniques for having difficult conversations.

Cambridge Camping's CCAccess scholarship program makes unforgettable camp accessible to all, offering day and overnight options.

Cambridge residents with children in grades K-8 apply to DHSP Afterschool Programs through this lottery application. The lottery opens in April for the coming school year.

JOYweavers celebrates children and families with great summer programming! We offer accessible, inclusive programming for children who benefit from a smaller setting.

Qualifying individuals can apply to receive affordable internet access and a new laptop.

We offer STEM programs at various locations across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts to children ages 4-13.

We help girls develop courage, confidence, and character through community service, exploration, workshops and adventures, including lessons in STEM, outdoors, life skills, entrepreneurship.

We have a variety of programs and clinics that include skill work and mini-games with the focus of learning the game of baseball and having fun!

We provide summer reading book recommendations; activities for children, teens, and adults; live events; as well as prizes and giveaways throughout July and August.

Our youth and teen summer classes include in-person and virtual dance classes for ages 4 and up!

We partner with local businesses and organizations to sponsor free events in parks across the city.
