Middle and High School Opportunities

The CLC offers five levels of English conversation, grammar, reading, and writing classes for Cambridge residents. There are daytime and evening classes. We do not offer online-only classes.

We offer STEAM, inquiry-based, and interdisciplinary learning programs that connect youth across cultures through real-world challenges, hands-on exploration, innovation, and mentorship.

We provide a fun and inclusive introduction to the great sport of hockey!

The CW Youth Taekwondo program provides classes to children and youth, with a fun and challenging curriculum that emphasizes coordination, focus, self-confidence and respect year round.

Join our afterschool studio with flexible open enrollment or convenient monthly memberships.

We are a comprehensive after-school educational enrichment and work-readiness program that includes paid workshops for low-income preteens and teens in Cambridge public housing.

We are offering virtual tutoring in all subject levels (K thru 12), including ACT/SAT test prep and foreign languages.

Youth ages 13-18 take part in the Teen Media Program (TMP) and Public Art Program, where they engage in projects involving visual art, media, and opportunities to connect with community.

We will offer open enrollment to elementary school students in after school (extended day and enrichment clubs) and vacation camps.

Bridging The Gap enriches the lives of teenagers through a life-skills curriculum, self-improvement activities, site visits, and community service projects.

Quality musical instruction for students of all ages & levels. Study with highly trained & experienced professional pianists. Curriculum designed to suit you and your individual learning style.

We offer a rowing program on the Charles River for youth ages 12-18.

We offer a hands-on STEM Project Course, an Academic Mentoring Course, and Team-Building Activities on Saturdays for 7th - 12th grade youth.

Our tutors work 1-on-1 with youth in grades 4 - 12 to improve academic and social skills through the school year in a safe, structured, and welcoming community.

We offer a play-based program for -5th grade students; as well arts programs for 1st-5th and 6th-8th grade students with our partner, Maud Morgan Arts.

We offer high quality, humanistic ballet education and training for children of all levels age 3 and up.

We provide language and interpretation classes, youth programs, multicultural community events, and other supports for immigrant families.

We provide free, high-quality, and hands-on science activities and mentoring for children and teens typically one day a week at each location.

We have games, community action projects, and meaningful conversations about school, girlhood, society, social media, identity, and more!

We are a free gender-inclusive, noncontact, fitness-based boxing program held on twice per week in the evenings for Cambridge youth in grades 6-12.

At the Cambridge YMCA After School Program, children have many opportunities to grow and discover new hobbies and interests.

We are an academic and social enrichment afterschool program committed to quality and to supporting children as they continue on their path of personal growth and education.

We bring robotics, coding, engineering, and design into your child's summer and future! We also have an afterschool studio with open enrollment or monthly memberships available.

We are offering in-person HIV/STI testing, treatment, and PrEP for LGBTQ+ youth ages 16-29.

We host a fun and challenging program for young artists in grades 9 - 12 who have a desire to expand their knowledge in the visual arts.

We offer safe and fun programs for pre-teens, middle schoolers, and teens to connect with peers, build leadership skills, and participate in sports, arts, and activities in an inclusive environment. 

We offer various clubs and after-school sports for students.
